This angular flint fragment appears to have been a tool, or possibly waste product that a tool was chipped from. It is from the vicinity of Lochwood Farm, which is roughly equidistant between Bishop's Loch and Woodend Loch. It is most likely connected with the Mesolithic toolmaking site at Woodend Loch (maybe it was dropped or discarded en route). This one appears to be a random find, as there is no record of an organised dig in the Lochwood area.
