Tram Conductor's Ticket Stamping Machine, around 1903-1931

This machine was used by a conductor on the Lanarkshire Tramways. Established in 1903, the tram company operated between Hamilton, Motherwell and Wishaw. It only lasted until 1931 and the only surviving tramcar, number 53 is now preserved at Summerlee Museum in Coatbridge.
